About the Department

Our department relies on a diverse blend of highly educated faculty members who provide coursework in political science, criminal justice, public administration, organizational leadership and international studies.

We have several programs of study available to students, including bachelor's degrees in four subject areas and a Master of Public Administration.

Internships are a vital part of our educational plan. We give students the opportunity to work in the state legislature as well as government agencies, attorney offices, police departments and probation offices.

Our goal is to prepare students for a variety of careers and make them well-informed citizens capable of participating in local, state, national and global affairs.
