MPA Advising
Advising Policy for Incoming Students Starting Fall 08
The MPA director will be the advisor for all students until they declare their concentrations. Upon declaration of his or her area of concentration, a student when needed will seek advice from the faculty advisor/s assigned to his or her particular concentration as listed below:
Nonprofit --Dr. Shamima Ahmed
Homeland Security--Dr. Shamima Ahmed
Metropolitan Governance-- Drs. Gary Mattson & Jayce Farmer
General Public Management-- Dr. Julie Olberding
Advising Policy for students working under the previous catalogs (before fall 08)
Students who have less than 12 credit hours completed Dr. Olberding
Students who have completed 12 – 24 hours Dr. Mattson or Dr. Farmer
Students who have completed 24 credit hours Dr. Ahmed
Advising Policy for NPM students
Dr. Ahmed is the advisor for all NPM students
