Public Administration Student Society (PASS)
Public Administration Student Society (PASS) is an organization created to enhance the MPA student experience as well as represent the graduate program.
PASS is open to any MPA student in good standing. It provides opportunities for networking and serves as an excellent resume builder. Members participate in community service projects and schedule guest lectures on topics of interest to MPA students.
Last summer, members participated in the Paint the Town project organized by Give Back Cincinnati. They were among the volunteers who painted a total of 47 homes in Covington were painted during the one-day event.
In the spring of 2008, PASS launched its speaker series with Boone County Administrator Jeff Earlywine and attorney and former Boone County Administrator Jim Parsons. Thirty students and faculty attended the discussion focused on labor negotiations in the public sector.
PASS invites all current MPA students, faculty and alumni to attend our monthly meetings. For more information, look us up on the NKU Student Life website.
